Amit Kumar is an AI and NLP researcher with more than eight years of research experience, specializing in generative models, multilingual processing, machine translation, and phonetic–orthographic modeling. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. Following this, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Data Science at The University of Manchester, U.K., where he contributed to impactful cross-domain AI research.
Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, where he teaches and conducts research in NLP, AI, and Machine Learning. His work bridges theoretical advancements with practical, real-world language technology applications.
